Long ago, the area around Mimarighen was covered by a calm, shallow sea that stretched for miles across the edge of an ancient continent. Sunlight streamed through clear, turquoise water, lighting up a gently sloping seabed made of pale limestone. The sea bottom was firm and peaceful, dotted with low, stony mounds and the occasional solitary horn coral. Sparse tufts of primitive algae or early sea plants clung to the rocks, swaying gently in the current.
